This is the perfect bar for an extra dark chocolate lover or an extra dark chocolate curious person. It has a higher cacao content than our line of 70% bars but without a whole lot of bite.

Description

Maya Mountain Cacao was founded in 2010.  They were one of the first to produce high-quality, centrally-fermented, transparently sourced cacao in Belize. They work with over 350 smallholder cacao farming families.

The artwork on the package was completed by Kristofer Parley. Kristofer is a Victoria based artist who focuses on working with water colours and ink. We met him our first year in St. Andrews while he was staying in town for the KIRA Artist Residency. For more information on him please visit the Staying Creative Studio.

Cacao beans sourced from: Uncommon Cacao.

    Very tasty and sweetened to perfection. Do not let yourself be intimidated by the 80%, this chocolate bar will surely please your palate.
